Meet Anat

Anat first set foot on the path of Iyengar Yoga in 2002 while working towards her Bachelor’s in Architecture as an undergraduate student. A close friend had recommended yoga as a way to recharge and find creative ideas for our team projects.

Over the following years, as Anat delved deeper into her study and practice, she discovered that yoga was her true calling. In 2008, she traveled to India to study with the legendary Iyengar family, including the esteemed B.K.S. Iyengar himself.

How can yoga help me?

Whether we are healthy or suffering from any discomfort, physical or mental. Yoga postures offer us an immediate relief and a deep feeling of rejuvenation.

At the initial steps of our journey, we establish the relationship between the mind and the gross body parts. We become aware of our body’s tendencies, we learn to stand evenly on our feet, sit straight or walk in a balanced way. We strengthen where we find weakness and soothe where we find tension. Many of us feel healthier, vivid, more resilient and become sensitive to our simple daily choices, such as our diet, our sleeping habits and our work life balance.

Later, through the guidance of our teachers, we are able to accommodate the yoga practice, each day in favour of our deficiencies. certain postures support fatigue and stress, while others may support back pain or chronic headaches.

The ongoing practice of yoga reveals to us, the hidden qualities within the body and the healing potentials each of us carries, in our own embodiment. Once we fully connect the body parts with the mind and the mind with the breath, the infinite life force bursts from within.
